The violent warlord, Lord Baka, had led his highly trained soldiers to the village where you and your family live. He gave them one primary order - to leave no survivors. A remorseless adversary, it was clear not a single ounce of guilt weighed upon him for his actions. You, Sinjid, are a brave and powerful warrior. You alone were the village's only defense, and as much as you tried, you couldn't stop the slaughter. You are the only survior of your village.... everyone else was killed, including your wife and child. You'll get your revenge on Lord Baka. You'll avenge the deaths of your wife and child, and everyone in your village. Baka will know vengeance at the hands of the cold steel of your blade. This game plays out like a JRPG (Japanese role playing game) in which you and all of your foes have hit points, mana, levels, stats, and experience points. Experience points will be earned as you make your way through the game and win battles, and as you level up your stats increase, making you stronger and stronger as the game goes on. Don't get too cocky though - as you get stronger, so will your enemies... so never let your guard down. Other typical RPG tropes are present here too, such as managing inventory, choosing a character class each with their own strengths and weaknesses, and using items and acquiring skills that augment and power up your character. RPG games are generally known for their long length - and Sinjid is no exception to this. Thankfully though, you don't have to necessarily play through this entire game in one marathon session. There's a very useful save and load feature added in to the game by the developer, allowing you to quit playing and then come back and pick up where you left off at a later point in time. It will be a lengthy and difficult quest, but nothing will stop Sinjid in his quest for vengeance.
