The devious and evil Dark Ninja and his many minions have left a countless number of traps, throns, spikes, and other hazards lying around in wait of Ninja Man... it's up to you to help guide him through unscathed, but it won't be easy! You'll need to keep your wits sharp and your reflexes on point to win in this one. To play the game, move around using the arrow keys to move in a respective direction. Use the A key to attack, D to defend, and J to jump. Running is done by moving left and right with the arrow keys, and using up and down arrow keys you can climb certain climbable objects. A quick roll can be performed to dodge enemy attacks by tapping left or right twice - but be aware that this will not help you through hazards and traps - only to dodge attacks. Jumping is preformed with the J key and pressing J again in mid air will give you a second air jump, acting as a bit of a boost to get higher up. Hold down D to defend yourself and block out incoming attacks. There are various attacks you can perform - a four hit combo by pressing A four times in rapid succession, a ballista attack by presing Up, Down, A; an uppercut done by pressing Up arrow and A, an attack called sacrifice where you dive down on your foes sword first is done by pressing down and A in mid air; windmill is performed by pressing down and A while on the ground, and the devastating sonic slash can be unleashed by pressing down, forward, A. As you move along you'll encounter interactive objects. One you find will be switches - these are used to open and close doors - and some of them activate more than one door. Ladders and ropes are climbable objects. Signs will appear that tell you what lies ahead; very useful. Watch out for spikes, and use moving platforms to your advantage - just be sure to time out your jumps properly. There will be flags throughout the levels - these are save points, that if you should die during the level, you'll respawn there as opposed to all of the way back at the start. This game is a kick ass mix of action, beat em up, hack and slash, and platforming - making it a top notch pick you definitely will want to try out!
