Land Rider is a racing game but instead of driving around some ultra sleek, light weight race car, you're behind the wheel of a big old all American 4x4 Jeep. The game plays out from an overhead perspective, having you race around the course trying to get the fastest time possible. To ensure that you get the fastest time possible, you will need to make your way through the track taking care to avoid going off the track - doing so will slow you down significantly, despite the fact that you're driving an off road vehicle. Thankfully though, hazards in track don't have too big of an effect... but don't get too cocky going through them or you might inadvertently end up losing control! Press the up arrow key to accelerate, down arrow key to brake or go in reverse, left and right arrow keys to steer your car, space bar to apply the brakes, and press shift to use a nitro boost to send your car zooming. You only have a limited amount of nitro, however. The amount you have left will be indicated on the bottom center of the screen by a percentage figure. Use this wisely and you'll be able to nail some really quick race times!
