A hard boiled game of stick figures! You'll be guiding the protagonist, Johnny Rocketfingers on a dangerous urban adventure that is filled with minsconceptions and peril. The game plays similar to a point and click style adventure game. To make Johnny move around, you simply need to click on an area for him to walk to, using the cigarette that acts as the in game cursor. Down below on the bottom right hand corner of the screen is the inventory bar - items that you pick up during the course of your adventure will go into these slots, and you can use the arrows to the right of them to cycle through your items. Off to the left of that are three icons that you will use to perform various actions in game: starting from the left, there's the mouth icon - you'll use this for doing things such as talking to people (most commonly) but also to do things that also use your mouth - lick, and eat, and the like. Next is the hand icon - this can be used for such actions as picking up an object, punching, pushing, and like. Next to that one, finally, is the eye icon, which will allow you to do things such as looking at and examining people and/or objects. One thing that will be essential for you to get through this game is knowing that you can combine certain items you've picked up with each other. For instance - say you found a flashlight. The thing lacks batteries, so it will not be effective for illuminating dark areas for you... but should you find a battery, you can combine it with the flashlight, which will then give you a functional flashlight! This can be done by clicking on an item you want to combine, and then clicking the item you want to combine it with next. Keep in mind though, only certain objects will be able to be combined. Should you want to skip any of the games cut scenes, you can press the space bar.
